Happy August Everybody! We have entered Cardiology Month. There are a ton of announcements this week:
- The Return of Teaching Tuesday: Hurray for the return of dedicated teaching/learning time!
- 8/5 Morning Report: There is no MR on 8/5 (enjoy the extra time to pre-round or sleep!). MR will happen during the lunch time slot instead.
- Medtrics is Coming: We are transitioning to Medtrics within the next 1-2 weeks. All schedule requests will be inputted after the transition to Medtrics.
- Sadia Starts Next Week! Sub-I’s are coming too! Let’s welcome them well.
- Fill out the google doc’s for Senior Talks, Journal Clubs, Drivers for Retreats: See links in last week’s announcements
- Specialist Consultations: Please remember place to an order for a consult (Nephrology, Cardiology, Palliative Care, etc.) when requesting a formal consultation
- Sitters: Please also notify nursing staff when ordering a sitter for a patient (they need to know for staffing reasons!)
- Interns, if you have not yet completed your Orientation/Ethics Compliance Training, do it now! (it was due last week)
- The first Resident Hour is 8/6, so please bring your thoughts on how you can improve the program!
- A change to the ICU structure is coming…
- Keep filling out your complaints/praises in the Chiefs CC box!
